When many actors came forward to help the victims of Chennai floods with donations, acclaimed actor Kamal Haasan had criticized the Tamil Nadu government’s failure over handling the disaster.

Responding to his comments, ex-CM O Paneerselvam had released a 6-page statement criticizing Kamal. Not only this, but Tamil Nadu govt has also extracted revenge against Kamal by suspending the electricity for the Eldams Road in Alwarpet, where house and office of the actor are located.
The power supply was suspended from 1st to 8th December, and it was only restored after, in a press release on 7th, Kamal apologized for his criticism of the Tamil Nadu government.
Rumor is that the denial of power for so many days was just a ploy of govt to harass Kamal.
Kamal Haasan next will star in a trilingual movie to be made in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu languages and the film titled as “Amma Nanna Aata” in Telugu.
