Ajay Kumar (Ajith) is an officer of Counter Terrorist Squad. He goes absconded when on an anti-terrorist mission along with his fellow officers. Ajay is shown living as a normal person, who silently continues to work for his mission against terrorism. After a while, he suddenly reappears when one of the terrorist team plans for a giant attack. The terrorists plan to create artificial earthquakes to kill mankind and Ajay’s duty is to abort their efforts to create terror. What happens next is to be watched in the theaters only.
Ajith, as usual, has given his best in the role of an Interpol officer. The action sequences are well played and give an intense appeal. Fight in Serbian forest is one of the best things from the movie. Kajal Agarwal in the role of Ajith’s wife looks elegant and the chemistry between them is beautifully portrayed. Akshara Haasan played an extended cameo in the film which is impresssive too. Vivek Oberoi has pulled his role well as a powerful antagonist. Intense action sequences hint high performances by the actors. The rest of the actors played well and made their presence felt.
The movie Vivekam stands high in production values and technical aspects. All the fights except the climax sequence are mind blowing. Action sequences are way above the Indian standards. The fight in Serbian forest is a technically top notch one. The background score by Anirudh goes in sync with the storyline. Songs have a positive impact. The camera work has been outstanding. The way the fights were choreographed is impressive. On a whole, the film is top notch in terms of technical values.
Vivekam is a technically fine action movie. The hard-work by the makers is visible in every frame. Though there is nothing that interesting in the story, the technical values are of world standards. Vivekam is a complete Ajith’s one man show. There are some good action scenes & top notch production values. In terms of the content, the film is completely average and with a normal execution, the film appears to b a disappointment but only watchable for Ajith.
A feast for Ajith’s fans.
