Vishal and Shruti Haasan starrer Poojai is currently shooting one of its schedules in Patna, Bihar and to everyone’s surprise the Kollywood movie got mixed with Bihari politics! How exactly, you may be wondering now…
Well we’re not talking about any trouble here folks, in fact we are talking just the opposite. The cast now has a new addition is all – a real life politician form Bihar! We do not yet know what the name of the person in question is and neither do we know what role he or she is essaying. But this is what’s called utilizing your local resources and talent!
The movie must surely have gained some extra fanfare and hospitality in Bihar now with this move.
Poojai is being directed by Hari, and is being produced by Vishal himself under the banner of his company Vishal Film Factory.
With the schedule in Bihar, almost 95 percent of the movie will be canned and what remains, according to sources, are three songs, which are to be filmed on location in Chennai, Hyderabad and Switzerland.

Sathyaraj plays a cop in the film and Radhika Sharathkumar plays Vishal’s mother, or so the reports indicate. The music of the film has been composed by none other than Yuvan Shankar Raja, and the man wielding the camera is Priyan.
Poojai is touted as an all out entertainer, and evidently the film must have some pretty great action sequences as it was during the filming of one such sequence a few months ago that Vishal injured himself.
Vishal is not making any excuses with this one it seems and Poojai, like his previous few flicks, feels like it is worth the wait.
