Tamil hero and Makkal Selvaran Vijay Sethupathi is currently busy shooting for his new film titled 96. The romantic entertainer is said to be marking the directional debut of Prem Kumar who earlier worked as cinematographer for many Tamil movies. Trisha Krishnan played the heroine role in this film.
This is the first time that Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan have come forward to play the lead roles and their chemistry is said to be a major highlight in the movie. The makers revealed that the theatrical rights were grabbed by 7 Screen studio and they are also planning to release the film in Telugu in a big way. The film is being produced by Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises and Govind Menon is the music director of the film.
