Music composer-turned hero Vijay Antony’s upcoming flick is titled Kaasi. Touted to be an intense action drama, it will be released in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. It will be released in Tamil as Kaali. Anjali and Sunainaa play the female leads.
Seems like the makers are facing a serious issue currently. A person has come up with the claim that Vijay Anthony and his wife had cheated him. He accuses them of canceling the bond of Kaasi(Kaali in Tamil) movie distribution. “I was told that they would give the distribution rights to me, as the last movie Annadorai brought losses. I gave them an advance of Rs.50 Lakhs too. Now that I don’t have enough money, they take it as a chance and have diluted the distribution bond with me”, the distributor said. Vijay Anthony has received a court notice and the release of Kaali or Kaasi is currently stopped.
