Talented actor Vicky Kaushal is currently one of the hotshot young heroes working in Bollywood. Though his performance was lauded in films like Raazi, Sanju and Manmarziyaan, the recent success of URI; The Surgical Strikes, has made him more popular throughout the country.
This Masaan actor is prepping up to start yet another patriotic film. Vicky will be acting in the biopic of Sardar Udham Singh, which will be directed by Shoojit Sircar. Sardar Udham Sign is a well-known freedom fighter who killed Micheal O’Dwyer, former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, in order to avenge the Jalinwala Bagh Massacre.
Speaking about the film, Shoojit said “I always wanted an actor who would put his soul n this subject. Moreover, Vicky is a Punjabi boy himself. So, he turned out to be an obvious choice in many ways.” “I always have been a great admirer of Shoojit sir and I like the way he looks at the stories. The way he is looking at Udham Singh is quite extraordinary and beautiful as well,” said Vicky. The shoot of the film will commence from next month and the release will be in next year.
