Another Tollywood popular singer V Ramakrishna breathed his last today (July 16, 2014) morning at his house in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. He has sung more than 5000 songs in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and other languages.
Ramakrishna made his film debut in 1972 with the film ‘Vichitra Bandham’ and sung the song ‘Vayase Oka Poolathota’ in the film. Here is some of his hit songs ‘Anubandham Aathmeeyatha Antha Oka Butakam’ in Thatha Manavadu, Shiva Shiva Shankara song in Bhaktha Kannappa, Telugu Veera Levaraa in Alluri Seetharama Raju and many more.
He was survived by wife Jyothi Khanna, a signer of Doordarshan and a son and a daughter. Nuvve Kavali fame actor Sai Kiran is Ramakrishna’s son.

Ramakrishna’s cremation will take place today at 3 pm in Panjagutta Smasana Vatika, Hyderabad.
