Yesteryears top actress Krishna Kumari is no more. She passed way today morning at her residence in Benguluru. She was the leading actress in 1960’s and 1970’s and had acted with all top heroes of that generation like N.T.Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Dr. Rajkumar, Sivaji Ganesan, Kanta Rao and Jaggayya.
Born in 1933, she started her career with movie Navvithe Navaratnalu in 1951. Some of her popular movies are Pelli Kanuka, Aggi Pidugu, Bandipotu, Bharya Bhartalu (1961), Vagdanam (1961), Kulagothralu (1962), Gudi Gantalu (1964, etc. She had acted in nearly 170 movies in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada langauges.
