Venky to known to pull off such interesting roles very well. The script is currently being prepped in Telugu by Paruchuri Brothers and post confirmation of the same, the movie will be produced by D.Ramanaidu under the banner of Suresh Productions.
Jayanth C Paranjee, who has earlier directed Victory in romantic hits like Premante Ide Raa and Preminchukundam Raa, will once again direct OMG after a long gap.
The most prominent role apart from the one essayed by Akshay is the one done by Paresh Rawal in the film. Paresh played an angry atheist who fought for the justice questioning God which became an instant hit with the audiences. Akshay played the role of Lord Krishna, who comes down from the heaven to changes his views.
A very different story this, one wonders how it can work with the audience here. But given the trends lately, the Telugu film lovers are a game for change, and have welcomed such films with good content. Venky being a part of such an interesting story would just be a bonus.
More details awaited on the cast and crew. Venky is currently set to arrive in his next comic entertainer with Ram, Masala. Incidentally, this is also a remake of the Hindi blockbuster movie, Bol Bacchan.
