BJP leader Varun Gandhi (MP) got married with Bengali girl Yamini Roy Chowdhury on March 06, 2011 at the Kamkoteshwar temple in Varanasi.
The nuptial ceremony was presided over by Kanchi Shankaracharya Swami Jayendra Saraswati at Kamakoti Temple.
The ceremony was held between 7:30 am and 9:00 am in the attendance of few of the family members that besides Maneka included the bride’s mother Aruna Vasudev. Some sources revealed that no one from Sonia Gandhi’s family was attending the ceremony.
Varun’s marriage reception party had been canceled for March 8 after the demise of his grandmother.
