He didn’t just ‘act’ as Prashanth in Pellichoopulu. Macho hero Vijay Devarakonda stepped into the role with ease and almost lived the character. Probably, no other actor could have played the role of Rishi in Yevade Subramanyam as best as he did. Fortunately, both of his roles resembled his real-life character too.
But before Yevade Subramanyam, Vijay acted in two films which are uncredited roles. Yes, in a recent interview, he said that, “ Pellichoopulu is not my first film. Yet, it brought me into the limelight which I didn’t expect to happen so soon. And even before Yevade…, I was roped in for small roles in Nuvvila and Life is Beautiful. But, that was in complete contrast with what I was looking for.”
On the work front, Vijay Devarakonda is busy shooting for his next film Taxiwala.
