27-year-old Hindi TV actor Vishal Thakkar is booked for raping his 26-year-old co-star. The unnamed actress has filed an FIR alleging that Vishal raped her on several occasions and abused her many times, on the pretext of marriage.
Both the actors have been in a live-in relationship for the past few months. Since Vishal started to abuse her, she left their home and moved to college hostel. The actress added that Vishal used to visit her at her hostel and threaten her many times.
An FIR under IPC sections 376, 506, 323, 509 and 420 has been filed on Vishal, and he will soon be arrested.
