The recent initiative taken up by Dr Mohan Babu to stall the celebrations of 100 years of Indian Cinema has left many of the members in MAA agitated. Everyone was actively planning for the grand celebrations when Mohan Babu called off Telugu artists taking part in the festivities. There were a series of meetings that were held, some without the presence of the veteran, where the issue was discussed with Dr Murali Mohan. However, even he has to yet revert with the final decision on the issue. Having an event without actors performing has left a sour taste in everyone’s mouth and the core members of MAA are contemplating to overrule the decisions made by few people and carry on with the plan on schedule. Where this miscommunication and mismanagement is headed, the following days will tell us.
