Father in law of Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter, Shweta Bachchan, Rajan Nanda who is a businessman passed away last night. Big B who is currently in Bulgaria shooting for Brahmastra movie rushed to India. He revealed the news on his social media page. “My relative Mr Rajan Nanda, Nikhil’s father and father-in-law of Shweta, just passed away. Leaving for India,” read Amitabh’s post.

Rajan Nanda was the chairman of Escorts Group and his son Nikhil Nanda is the managing director of the company. Nikhil and Shweta got married and are blessed with two children Navya and Agasthya. Rajan Nanda has been ill from the past few days and breathed his last yesterday night at the hospital. The sudden tragedy has devastated both Nanda and Bachchan families.
