We have so many senior heroes who stay fit and slim for their age and one of them is Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja. After a break, he came up with Raja the great under the direction of Anil Ravipudi and scored a blockbuster despite negative reviews. He is now coming with “Touch Chesi Choodu” which is directed by debutante Vikram Sirikonda, who earlier worked as dialogue writer for Racegurram and many other hit movies. This movie Raashi Khanna and Seerat Kapoor as female leads which is produced by Nallamalapu Bujji and Vallabhaneni Vamsi. Let’s see how it works on us.
Story
Karthikeya (Ravi Teja) is a businessman who lives with his family in Pondicherry happily. He gives his family a very utmost importance and he will go any extent for the sake of his family. He decide to get married for the sake of his family and meet Pushpa (Raashi Khanna) and she falls for him gradually and he rejects her for the sake of his family’s respect. His child witnesses a murder scene and he goes to Police regarding this murder and gets to know Irfan, who died long back in the records of Police. He then calls commissioner of Police (Murali Sharma) and gets to know about Irfan. Who is Irfan? What is the story of Karthikeya? What happens with the murder case?
Cast and Performance
Ravi Teja is superb as Karthikeya which has two shades as a Police and a family person. He is good right from his look and body language to his diction. Rashi Khanna as Pushpa is good. She looks gorgeous. Satyam Rajesh as Karthikeya’s friend is nice. Seerat Kapoor entertained in a glamorous role. Murali Sharma is as usual in his commissioner role. Vennela Kishore, Giri and others are humorous. The guys who acted as Villain and his son are good. Actors who did other roles are fine.
Writing department
Story of this Touch Chesi choodu has nothing new in terms of content and it’s screenplay goes in a formulaic way. Dialogues are good.
Technical Departments
Songs composed by J.A.M8 team are nice and they are well supported by nicely written lyrics. Background score composed by Manisharma is superb and it has taken the movie to next level. Cinematography by Chota K Naidu is nice and there are many eye catchy frames. Editing by Gowtham Raju is fine. Action sequences are well composed and nicely shot. Art department did a fine job. Production values are rich.

Touch Chesi Choodu is a story of a Police who is so honest in his work and whose priority is his job more than his family or fiance. He is so reckless and goes with his instincts to solve crimes. This attitude of him brings problems in his personal life and this movie packages it. This movie has many resemblances to many old movies and debutante director Vikram Sirikonda could have done better work in writing screenplay. This movie has everything in best possible way but not it’s content. We have been seeing movies with the same screenplay from some 10-15 years and makers didn’t learn any lessons with some super failures. This movie is a disappointment for audience who expect different content and appeal to mass audience. To sum up, Touch Chesi Chudu is another commercial entertainer from Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja.
