Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Bhai continues to rule this year and some are even touting it as the “Year of the Bhai”! With two back to back hits and a judicial court verdict going his way, there’s no looking back for him. After all itsBhai’s way or the highway!! While the said movie did not enjoy a very positive review base from the critics, but still it could not hold back Bhai’s fans from thronging to the box office. A low-rated movie making it to the top-grosser’s list with 207 crores; that Midas touch!
Tanu Weds Manu Returns
Who ever watched the first installment of the movie was in for the second one. Fans had completely fallen in love with cute chemistry between Tanu and Manu. So, as expected, when the movie opened in theatres, it had the numbers ticking for good. With 152 crores domestic collection, Tanu Weds Manu Returns made it to both the 100 crores club and the top-grosser’s list here. We wish Tanu and Manu a happy married life!!
This is a bit unexpected, but the second installment was actually better than the first in termsof scripting and casting. The dance fever did grip the audiences and it cast a spell on the box office. With 105 crores, it made it to the “Big League” and so there are happy days ahead for Prabhudeva, Varun and Shradha…fingers crossed!!
