Market for Telugu films touched sky in Overseas. Nizam, Andhra and Ceded used to be the money minting areas for Telugu movies but in the past few years Overseas market boomed to unexpected levels.Telugu films just rocked in overseas in 2015.

As expected Baahubali remained the king with collections of more than $7.5 million with just Telugu version collecting $6.5 million, a fact that proves the strength of Telugu market in Overseas. The king of overseas, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s biggest hit, ‘Srimanthudu’ collected close to $2.9 million, claiming the 2nd position. Surprisingly, Nani’s Bhale Bhale Magadivoy beat Bunny’s ‘S/o Satyamurthy’ to claim 3rd place with collections of close to $1.4 million.
Baahubali got almost Rs 49 crores and second place is Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu Rs with 19.22 crores. Interestingly Ravi Teja’s Kick 2 got Rs 2.04 crores in overseas.
10 Films in total have crossed $250,000 mark. Sukumar’s production venture ‘Kumari 21F’ stood at 10th place with just over $253,000 collections.

It seems that soon Overseas collections for Telugu movies will beats Nizam, Andhra and Ceded collections. Some of the film failed at Indian box-office also gained huge money in overseas.
