Director Teja once again hits the headlines with his bold statements on Tollywood heroes. Teja’s new movie Hora Hori released recently, and it bombed at the box-office. Before the Hora Hori movie release, he made some shocking comments on Mahesh Babu and other actors for adopting villages saying that “Actors are adopting villages for tax exemption”.

Now, Teja once again made some controversial statements on Telugu heroes. In a recent interview, Teja said that Telugu actors are selfish, and many don’t possess acting talent. He also questioned which actor in present generation accepts to do movies like Shankarabharanam, Chanti and Swatimuthya movies.

He further added that “Actors are behind us (directors) until they get a break, once they get the stardom they won’t respond when we need them. Few of the actors don’t even speak to the directors, after getting the stardom. This type of culture doesn’t exist in Bollywood. For example, if we take Salman Khan, when he signs a new film he puts a condition of leaving that particular film whenever he gets a call from Sooraj Barjatya. The director Sooraj gave the stardom to Salman Khan with the film “Maine Pyar Kiya”. So Salaman always has a special place for him, but in Tollywood it is quite opposite” he busted.

He also complained that Tollywood is making films mostly based on comedy and is not accepting new or experimental stores.
