He was immediately given first aid and was on medication for some time. It is learnt that Ajith did not want the news about his injury leaking out to the media as it would have his fans worried and distressed.
This is not the first time that Ajith has been injured on the sets as he has met with a couple of accidents while shooting for films earlier. In fact, he had to stay out of action for nearly eight months after completing Vedhalam as he had to undergo a surgery. Sources close to the film unit say that Ajith has recovered from the injuries with medication, rest and therapy and there is nothing to worry.
Vivegam, directed by Siva, is in the final stages of production. The shooting is currently on in Europe, and the team will be returning to Chennai soon. Starring Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan as the female leads, Vivegam also has Bollywood actors Vivek Oberoi and Arav Chowdhury playing the antagonists.
Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer for this magnum opus that is being bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films’ Senthil Thyagarajan, Arjun Thyagarajan and T. G. Thyagarajan. The film is getting ready for a massive release on August 10th to cash in on the long Independence Day weekend.
