The Gautham Menon – Ajithkumar super flick is still going strong in its production stages, and the crew are now shooting in Chennai after stint in Malaysia. The scenes in Malaysia were some romantic scenes between Ajith and Anushka, the leading lady of the film, and Trisha is expected to join the shoot soon in India.
Ajith, so far as we know, plays a cop named Sathyadev in the film, which is touted as an all out action thriller. But one question remained on everybody’s lips.. till now that is. Who’s the baddie?
Well, it looks like we finally have a big reveal on our hands folks, and the bad guy in this hugely hyped film is…. Rajasimhan of Kutti Puli fame!
Yes, Gautham Menon has finally made a decision and has chosen the actor to essay the role of the villain in Thala 55 Movie. In fact, the scenes between him and Ajith are being shot right now. Sources close to the director say that he is happy with the new member of the cast and he is thrilled with their working relationship so far.
And speaking of new cast members, there is another interesting addition to the team and what’s more – it was Ajith’s suggestion and recommendation that landed the actor there! Figuring out who we’re talking about here?
It’s none other than the young actress Abhinaya who impressed Thala Ajith very much during her short part in Veeram. The deaf and mute starlet is someone the superstar now admires very much and when he suggested her for a part in the movie, Gautham willingly obliged.
Thala 55 or Ajith 55, as the movie is known now, is all set to finish it’s filming stages by September. But apparently, there’s a huge amount of CG work in the flick, which means it would take another couple of months in post production before hitting the big screens in November this year.
