The first part that saw Pakistani actor Ali Zafar in the lead role has no trace of his in the second part. ‘Tere Bin Laden-2’ is produced by Phantom Films and Walkwater Media. In this first look Osama Bin Laden’s dupe is seen sitting on a missile rocket that flows over Hollywood. Osama is seen reading a newspaper bearing ‘Bin Laden Dead.’
Manish Paul will be replacing Ali Zafar from the first part. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the sequel is said to be made in the similar genre as the previous one, which was a spoof on Osama Bin Laden’s capture.
The first part that was received well by the audience and critics was made in the backdrop of Pakistan. Interestingly the first part was banned in Pakistan.
Newcomers Pradhuman Singh and Sikandar will also star in this sequel. ‘Tere Bin Laden Dead or Alive’ will arrive into theatres on February 19th next year.
