Telugu Heroine Sri Divya is becoming a popular heroine in Tamil with film after film. She has recently signed a movie starring hero Vishal in Tamil.
Divya, who made her Tollywood entry as a child artist, first appeared in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Yuvaraju.’ She later on became a heroine with Ravi Babu’s ‘Masara.’ ‘Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Puvvu’, ‘Bus Stop’ were other films that brought her recognition in Telugu.
Though, Sri Divya is a Telugu heroine she has earned much name in Tamil than Telugu. After giving an impressive entry with ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’ in Tamil, she went to do films like Jeeva Jenny, Vellaikaara Durai and Kaaki Satta, by so she has been listed among the prominent heroines in Tamil Cinema.
Currently, Sri Divya is shooting for ‘Kashmora’ starring Karthi and Nayantara. Gokul is directing this film. Even before this film completed its filming, she agreed to another film opposite Vishal. The film is titled as ‘Marudu’ directed by Muttiah who recently directed Vishal’s ‘Komban.’
Interestingly, Vishal’s Nadigar Sangam election competitor Radha Ravi is playing an important cameo in ‘Marudu.’
