The shoot of Atharvaa’s upcoming film, Boomerang, is progressing at a brisk pace around Theni and Aruppukotai. As per latest reports, the team had spent a whopping Rs.1 crore for a song.
Kannan, the director of the film, said, “That is what the script demanded. The song deals with patriotism, and I am sure that it will create a positive impact. Choreographed by Brinda master, we erected a huge set at Devaram and roped in more than 2,000 junior artiste and 100 of the best dancers from the industry to make it look natural. I’m thankful to composer Radhan and lyricist Vivek for understanding my vision, and making this happen.”
Divulging more about the film, he said, “It’s a complete action film with a social message. However, it won’t be preachy. Atharvaa and RJ Balaji have pulled off their roles well and have given an interesting touch to it.”
Touted to be an action film, the second schedule of the film will happening in Chennai from March 12.
