The Telugu Desam party today asked the Andhra Pradesh Assembly officiating Speaker to disqualify its rebel MLA N Prasanna Kumar Reddy for his alleged anti-party activities.
TDP leaders presented their version to officiating Speaker N Manohar and sought the disqualification of Prasanna Reddy, who allegedly supported former Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
"We told him (officiating Speaker) that Prasanna Kumar Reddy be disqualified immediately for his anti-party activities," TDP Chief Whip D Narendra told reporters here.
Meanwhile, some Congress MLAs, also supporting Jagan, have submitted their replies to the officiating Speaker. The Congress has complained to the Speaker over their activities.(PTI)
