Actress Tapsee, who debuted into Tollywood with the film "Jhummandi Nadam" with Manoj is become a busy heroine in Tollywood amd Kollywood. She is quite popular in Tamil raher than Telugu. However, her current two projects Mr Perfect with Prabhas and Veera with Ravi Teja are ready to release. Her recently released Tamil film was brought a success to Tapsee and she is also busy in Kollywood after that film. She also signed a Malayalam film recently.
Now the latest news is that Tapsee has bagged in Bollywood film , which will be directed by David Dhawan. It is a remake of one of the greatest comedies from a bygone era, Chasshme Badoor (1981).
Director David Dhawan feels that Tapsee is something special and different from the typical assembly-line heroines. Her sex appeal lies in her freshness and innocence and that makes her perfect for the role.
Recently Tollywood heroines like Ileana and Kajal also signed for Bollywood films. Ileana is doing a movie titled Barfee with Ranbir Kapoor and Kajal Agarwal is acting with Ajay Devagan in the remake of Tamil film Singham.
Earlier Asin and Trisha also gone to Bollywood and now they didn’t have much offers in Bollywood and they are almost back to South Indian film industry.
