Jayam Ravi is the Tamil hero who made his debut with the remake of Telugu movie Jayam in Tamil. His roots are from Telugu land but his family settled in Chennai. His father Mohan is a popular editor.
The actor recently came up with the release of a movie titled Tik Tik Tik. Sounderrajan is the director of the film. Nivetha Pethuraj is the heroine. The film has become a hit in both Tamil and Telugu. The movie unit is in Hyderabad for the promotions of the film where Jayam Ravi opened up about making a debut in Telugu industry.
“I know about Tollywood very well. Being a son of Editor Mohan, I used to come to Hyderabad regularly and used to spend time here. I have friends in Hyderabad and I always feel at home whenever I come to the city. I am happy now that my latest movie has become a big hit in Telugu. Many at times, people ask me to do a straight Telugu movie but they started scolding me for not doing it. In fact, a lot of offers came my way but I only lost them. I am now regretting but I will surely come up with a straight Telugu film soon.” said Jayam Ravi.
