It’s no surprise she picked a traditional saree from the trad-loving Kolkatabased designer to attend an awards ceremony very close to her heart when her father, the former badminton great Prakash Padukone, was felicitated with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Badminton Association of India.
But few know that Deepika is also a big fan of fast cars: she owns a garage that is filled with some neat set of wheels, made by German and British luxury car-makers. This is probably why she gifted her father a swanky new German SUV, an upgraded version of her own SUV, for his felicitation. She is too sweet. Isn’t it?
