There were a lot of reports in the recent past that Mahesh Babu is going to turn a producer with an exciting web series but still there is no confirmation on the same. As per the latest reports in Tollywood, the project is confirmed and will kick-start soon.

The project is going to be a web-series that will have a grand release in three seasons on one of the popular digital streaming platforms. Each season is going to have 8 episodes with an hour duration. Titled as Charlie, the series revolves around a thriller backdrop.

Hussain Sha Kiran who provided the story for Jr NTR’s Nannaku Prematho and who directed a small film Meeku Meere Maaku Meme is going to direct the web series. Kala Bhairava is going to score the music for the series

The web series season is currently going viral on the social media. Every director and every actor is showing interest in doing a web series. A lot of web series have come in Telugu but only a few have become hits. Pelli Gola is one series that became a big hit. The sequel for the web series is also streaming online right now on VIU. The series is a complete fun-filled family entertainer. VIU has produced the series and four episodes of the second season are currently streaming online.

Life is Beautiful fame Abhijeeth and Varshini Sounderrajan are playing the leads in the film. Annapurna Studios are producing the series along with Tamada Media. Mallik Ram is the director of the web series. Shiva Sai is the director for the season 2.
