Just a few days ago, Tamil star hero Vikram’s daughter Akshitha and former Tamil Nadu CM Karunanidhi’s great grandson Ranjith got engaged after having been in a relationship for some time.

As per latest reports, Akshitha has now lost her engagement ring worth Rs 12 lakh. Rakshitha has lodged a police complaint alleging that she found her ring missing after returning from an ice cream parlor in Chennai on Tuesday. Even though the police have scrutinized the CCTV footage of the parlor, they found nothing.

Akshitha and Ranjith will enter into wedlock in 2017.

Tamil star hero Chiyaan Vikram’s daughter Akshitha has engaged to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi’s great grandson Manu Ranjith.

The engagement ceremony was held last night at a five-star hotel in Chennai. Many bigwigs from film and political arenas attended the event to bless the love birds turned life partners. The engagement ceremony was a private affair. The engagement took place after the parents of the duo agreed to their love story. Marriage is expected to be held next year.

Meanwhile, Vikram is currently busy shooting for ‘Iru Mugan’. Also starring Nayanthara and Nithya Menon, the film is said to be a medical thriller. He will soon start shooting for his next commercial film titled ‘Garuda’. Kajal Aggarwal will romance him in this film.

After getting the approval from both the families, the marriage is confirmed, and the engagement ceremony will be planned on 10th of July. Vikram is currently busy with the shoot of the film Iru Mugan which also stars Nayanthara and Nithya Menen. Vikram has taken a short gap from the shoot to look over the engagement arrangements.
