Niharika’s previous movies ‘Oka Manasu’ and ‘Happy Wedding’ ended up as disasters at the box office. Now, the mega princess is all set to enthrall the audience with her upcoming film ‘Suryakantham’.

Billed to be a romantic comedy entertainer, Praneeth Bramandapally is helming this project. ‘Ee Maya Peremito’ Fame Rahul Vijay is playing the lead role in the film. Today, the makers have unveiled the teaser of the movie which is currently going viral on the internet. The 1-minute teaser video has shown Niharika as a bad, bold and care-free in the film whereas Rahul Vijay falls head over heels in love with her and tries to woo her. The teaser has been receiving a positive response from the audience. So, we can expect that Niharika might go ahead and score a hit this time.

USA distributors Nirvana Cinemas are bankrolling this project. Praneeth Bramandapally has previously directed Niharika’s web series ‘Muddapappu Avakai’, ‘Nanna Kuchi’ is helming this project.

Niharika Konidela made her debut with the tragic love story, Oka Manasu. Thought the film was critically acclaimed, it bombed at the box office. Then, the lady from Mega clan tested her luck with the film, Happy Wedding, which no one even bothered to watch in the theaters.

This time she is coming with yet another love story titled Suryakantham. Starring Rahul Dev as the male lead, this film is directed by Praneeth Brahmandapally. Praneeth is a good friend of Niharika and he directed two web series with her namely Muddapappu Avakay and Nanna Koochi.

Suryakantham is touted to be a new age love story which deals with the state of modern relationships. The teaser of this film will be out today at 5 PM. Niharika’s brother and actor Varun Tej is producing this movie which is slated to release in March.
