Akkineni hero Sumanth is gearing up for his big comeback with ‘Naruda DONORuda’. The actor has not only tasted setbacks in terms of films but also had a failed marriage.

In his latest interview, when the actor was asked if he is planning to get married again, Sumanth has said a strict no and said that his concentration was only on resurrecting his career.

In 2004, Sumanth married ‘Tholi Prema’ actress Keerthi Reddy but the duo parted ways in 2006.

‘Naruda DONORuda’ is Sumanth’s latest film, which is slated to hit screens on 4th November. It is the official remake of the hit Hindi film ‘Vicky Donor’. The film narrates the story of a youth who takes the odd job of a sperm donor at the eleventh hour and the complications that come in his life as a result.

Akkineni Sumanth starrer Naruda Donoruda’s audio is going to be launched tonight in Hyderabad at N Convention. The makers are highly confident that the film is going to become a huge hit as they have already got the confidence with the theatrical trailer response. Sumanth took a selfie while he was dubbing for his role and posted it on the social media saying that the movie is currently in the post-production phase and is completed with the dubbing programs.

The Hindi version of this movie with Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam in the lead, Shoojit Sircar made a film on the subject of sperm donation in a light manner in 2012 through “Vicky Donor”. It was appreciated by critics and was also commercially successful.

Hero Sumanth is the elder hero from Akkineni family when compared with young heroes. Though Sumanth gained positive marks as an actor, his films had consistently failed at the box-office. After giving an impressive entry with Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Prema Katha’ in 1999, critics appreciated him for his skills.

With slowly fading away from cinemas, Sumanth is mostly spotted in audio functions of Akkineni heroes. Recently Sumanth has agreed to do a film. This untitled project is a remake of Bollywood super hit ‘Vicky Donar.’

Vicky Donar is a story about a young guy (Ayushmann Khurrana) who donates his sperm for the needy with the help of a fertility expert who runs a sperm bank. Comedy and drama fill this film. Shoojit Sircar directed the Hindi version and produced by John Abraham.

Sumanth will play the Telugu version. Mallik Ram turns as a director for this film. The producer and further cast and crew are still to be announced.

Earlier the Telugu rights were brought immediately after the super hit talk of the Hindi version. Siddharth was planned to do the lead role, but, unfortunately, it couldn’t happen. Now, this film has fallen into the hands of Sumanth. The remake will be a comeback movie for Sumanth.

Akkineni Family hero Sumanth has failed to sustain in filmdom despite making a good debut. With hit films like ‘Satyam and ‘Gowri’ to his credit, he has been away from films for a long time. Sumanth is struggling to get the movies so he is testing his luck as producer.
