Actress Sonali Bendre has recently revealed that the doctors said that there were only 30 per cent chances of her survival. It is known that she was suffering from cancer and underwent treatment for a year in the US. After recovering fully from cancer, she headed back to India a few days back.

In a recent interview to a magazine, she said, “It was revealed in the scan that cancer had spread all over my abdomen, like fairy lights scattered all over, and when the doctor in New York said that there was about 30 per cent chance of it all going away, we were shattered.”

“But the thought of death didn’t come to me. I thought this was going to be a long struggle, but I never thought I’d die,” she added. She also asked that the patients should be with family and friends in those tough phases which will help them to mentally overcome the disease.

We have already heard that Sonali Bendre shifted to New York and is undergoing her cancer treatment. From Priyanka Chopra to Sussanne Khan, the actress has had so many guests and fans who have been praying for her speedy recovery.

As per the latest reports, the former actress who recently paid a visit to Sonali Bendre is Namrata Shirodkar. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s wife, Namratha is currently on a vacation with her husband and children Gautham and Sitara. She also went to visit Sonali Bendre and has been praising about Sonali’s spirit. “She is a strong girl. She looks amazingly fit and ready to get back to normal life.” Said Namratha and added that she had such a lovely time with her and discussed so many things. Sonali told Namrata the entire story of her illness and what gives her the strength, whereas Namratha told her that she’s always in her prayers.

“My son Gautam and I were to meet Sonali, her son Ranvir, and husband Goldie. But unfortunately, my family and I are going to be out of New York for two days. However, Sonali and I have promised each other a walk in Central Park, and we will do that soon,” added Namratha.

It has been a known fact that the popular heroine Sonali Bendre has been diagnosed with a dreadful disease cancer. The actress is taking treatment in New York and she shared an update about her health. In her emotional post, she penned down all her thoughts and thanked one and all for sharing some inspirational stories and motivating her. She also thanked all for the constant outpour of love.

Actress Sonali Bendre who appeared in Telugu movies like Murari, Indra, Manmadhudu etc is diagnosed with a high stage cancer. Sonali took her Twitter to announce the same. The post denotes that Sonali has been diagnosed with stage-4.

Sonali states that she is currently undergoing treatment for Cancer in New York. This emotional confession by Sonali has left everyone in a shock. Sonali promises to be more optimistic during the treatment.

In an elaborate note Sonali wrote, “Sometimes when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been diagnosed with high-grade cancer that has metastasized, which we frankly did not see coming. A niggling pain led to some tests, which led to this unexpected diagnosis. My family and close friends have rallied around me, providing the best support system that anyone can ask for. I am very blessed and thankful for each of them.”
