The film Singham 3 was supposed to hit the theaters on 9th of December last year, but the film was pushed to another date in January and then postponed twice which finally settled on 9th February 2017. The postponement of the movie did show some effect on the fans and the movie lovers. But when everyone thought that the film is releasing today, the shocking news came in the form of the cancellation of the Telugu shows in Hyderabad today morning. Even the Tamil shows were also cancelled in Hyderabad.

Though there is a buzz that the shows were cancelled because of the technical problems, the actual news is that the Telugu version producer Malakapuram Sivakumar has to clear some payment and because of this reason the film was cancelled. As of now, there is no update on the release.

Suriya is currently very busy shooting for the action entertainer Singham 3. It is the third installment of the popular Singham series. Suriya and Anushka Shetty will be playing the lead roles in the film. Shruti Haasan is another heroine who will be seen as a journalist in the film. The film is directed by Hari. The film unit recently sold away the Telugu rights of the film for a whopping amount to Malkapuram Sivakumar who has produced the film Surya vs Surya.

The latest update on the film is that the overseas rights of the film were sold to an astonishing amount of 15.5 CR to a leading distribution house. The makers have also sold the music rights for 1.75 CR to Eros Music. The audio scored by Harris Jayraj.

If latest reports in tinsel town are to be believed, Suriya’s action entertainer ‘S3’ might hit screens in the month of August.

It is known that the first two parts of ’Singham‘ series have been stupendous hits. Directed by Hari, the series is known for its racy screenplay, powerful action scenes, and the stellar performance of Suriya as a kind hearted and an angry police officer. The shooting part of third part titled ‘S3’ has been progressing for few months.

Most of the shooting took place in foreign locations. The film is being made under Studio Green banner. Music director Harris Jayaraj is expected to finish his work by July first week so we can expect the audio launch by July end.

Anushka, who was seen the first two parts, will be seen as Suriya’s wife in the third part. Shruti Haasan is an addition to this part.
