If latest reports in tinsel town are anything to go by, cute actress Samantha is making plans to turn as producer.

Samantha is one of the very few southern actresses who rose to stardom in very short span. She already has acted with almost all the stars heroes of Telugu and Tamil cinema. With films like ‘Theri, ‘Brahmotsavam’ and ‘A..Aa’ slated for release, Samantha is enjoying her career at the moment.

However, her hunger to do challenging roles has not satisfied yet. In the commercial movies, heroines are just limited to eye candies, and they don’t get such heavy roles. With this, Samantha has been for a long time looking for good heroine oriented subject. It seems that she has finally found one.

Samantha is believed to have bought the Telugu and Tamil remake rights of acclaimed Kannada director Pavan Kumar’s new film ‘U-Turn’. She will play a lead role and produce the heroine oriented mystery thriller.

Rumour has it that Tollywood Hottie Samantha has been signed by a reputed production house in Bollywood. The news of Samantha considering Bollywood films had been doing the rounds for quite some time now. However,there were no serious winds of confirmations yet.

Sources also reveal that she has signed a 3-film deal with the production house who is known to be the powerhouse of talent in the Hindi film industry.

Samantha had earlier done a small cameo in ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ which was the Hindi remake of ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ which starred Samantha herself in the main lead.

Now that she has been ruling the roost in Southern film industries,it remains to be seen how she fares at the National level.
