Samantha is one of the star heroines in the Telugu film industry who recently scored a hit with the film Majili. The film stars Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. Shiva Nirvana directed the project.

Samantha is currently busy with a handful of projects. She is doing the remake of the Tamil film 96 in Telugu and is also going to be a part of Manmadhudu 2 starring Nagarjuna Akkineni in the lead.

The latest buzz in the film industry is that the actress hiked her remuneration. Samantha is said to be charging an amount of Rs 3 crores. The industry sources reveal that Samantha is the only heroine whose craze and demand went up, after the marriage.

Looking at the choices Samantha made after her marriage and the success she tasted, marriage is something that really helped her grow as a person and as an actress. Now, she opened up on when she might take a break for films and she added that the break will be a temporary one.

Talking about having kids in a recent interview, Samantha said that she is yet to plan that. Adding more, she said that she could not enjoy her childhood properly and wanted her kids to have an awesome childhood.

“After giving birth to a baby, I will dedicate all my time for the baby and will take a break from movies for a while.” said Samantha.

She has a film with her husband in the direction of Shiva Nirvana and soon after completing the film, she said to be taking a short break.

No reason is revealed for this latest and sudden decision of Samantha.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has already made it clear that he is going to wed Samantha next year. The wedding will be a grand event. Naga Chaitanya also made it clear that he won’t interfere in Samantha’s career post marriage. Meanwhile, with the two back to back hits of Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo and Premam, Naga Chaitanya is flooded with offers. Chay is very choosy in signing the films now. On the other side, Samantha is also ready to act after marriage. As the wedding is scheduled for next year, Samantha has started signing new films.

She has got two to three offers in Tamil cinema, but she is running out of offers in Telugu cinema. There are no takers for the actress in Telugu. Samantha acted with almost all the actors of Telugu film industry except for a few. The only regret now she has is that there are no offers for her in Telugu.

Janatha Garage audio was launched on 12th at Shilpakala Vedika in a grand manner. Jr NTR, Samantha, and Nithya Menen played the lead roles in the film. Samantha was absent at the audio launch event, and she has already said that she is not doing well and hence took a decision of staying away from the event. But the buzz reveals that there is one more reason for Samantha being absent at the audio launch event. There were so many media reports whenever Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are getting infront of media. In this scenario, Chaitanya is trying to avoid media galore as much as he wanted. Samantha added that she hails from a middle-class family, and she never dreamed of becoming a star heroine. She added that the entire credit for her success goes to her directors and heroes. Sam feels that as she acted with star heroes of Telugu and Tamil cinema, and as the films turned out hits, she could easily connect with audiences, and hence, she achieved this position.

Samantha, one of the top actresses down south, has revealed that she wants to do full time social service if at all she has to quit film career.

Samantha is well known for her social service that she does in the name of Prathyusha Foundation. After donating crores for the poor children who lack financial support for their health concerns, Sam proved that she has a heart of gold.

Samantha said in an interview, ‘Many girls are out there who are much beautiful and more talented than me, but God gave me this chance to become a heroine. As he gave me so much, I am doing a little bit of social service in return. If at all I have to quit films, I would choose full time social service as my alternative to films.’

Soon Samantha is going to join the shooting of her forthcoming Telugu movie “Brahmotsavam”. The next shooting schedule will starts from 5th of this month in Hyderabad.
