Baahubali filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli has refuted reports of working on another magnum opus based on the story of Mahabharata. He said that he is not working on anything right now and currently enjoying his break.

“I am not making Mahabharata. I just said that my dream is to make Mahabharata, but it is a long time to get to that,” said Rajamouli. “I haven’t started anything. I am just taking a break. It will be some time that I will be starting to work on my next project,” he added.

Asked about any plans to come out with another part, Rajamouli said at the moment there is no “further” story to tell. Rajamouli has earlier said that he loves mythological stories as it deals with fantasy. Talking about the characters in Mahabharata, the filmmaker said that he in awe of Karna’s character.

The other day the Baahubali Prabhas has allocated some time to a regional leading media. He has opened up on several things regarding Saaho.

Generally, it is a very obvious thing that no hero tasted a hit after having a blockbuster with the director Rajamouli. Now Prabhas, after having such a gigantic hit like Baahubali-2 is feeling enormous pressure on himself regarding his next. He has indirectly conveyed that he is under stress in shaping out Saaho flick. As the movie is immediate next to Baahubali, expectations are quite high. However, he and his team are working hard to make Saaho on par to Hollywood movies regarding technicalities.

Currently, this flick is under production in Mumbai. The team is on the verge of wrapping up its first schedule in India. The next long schedule is planned in Abu Dhabi.

There is a well-known story of how the film Baahubali turned into reality. It was Rajamouli’s dream and he pitched the story to Prabhas who instantly accepted to do the film. What happened after that is a history. Also, the buzz is that Rajamouli has another interesting idea which he wanted to make into a movie with Prabhas which he already pitched to Prabhas but both of them came to a decision that they have to complete their prior commitments first. In the same way, both are busy in finishing their previous commitments now.

Rajamouli is planning his next film in DVV Entertainments production where as Prabhas is busy with Saaho and another film. It takes two to three years for the projects to be completed. If all goes well, we can see the Baahubali combination once again on the screen.

Baahubali The Beginning has become a huge blockbuster at international level. S S Rajamouli is the director of the film. Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamannah have played the lead roles in the film. Currently the second part of the film is being filmed at a brisk pace. The film is titled as Baahubali The Conclusion. There are several rumours regarding the theatrical rights of the film but the film unit has officially confirmed regarding the theatrical rights for Nizam area. Asian Enterprises have grabbed the rights for the film.

The official Twitter handle of the film Baahubali, confirmed the news by posting, “We are pleased to confirm that Narayan Das Narang and Sunil Narang of Asian Enterprises have acquired the Nizam rights for Baahubali 2.” The film is going to release in April next year.

One of the most celebrated directors of Tollywood today, S S Rajamouli is also one of the few who keeps actively in touch with his fans via social media. His social netowrking site now has 1 million followers. “My FB page has crossed the 1 million mark. i feel honored and humbled by the love shown by you all..a big thanku2everyone”, tweeted the rapt director.

His magnum opus on cards, Baahubali is fast racing to finish production. A magnanimous battle sequence is being planned for the climax that would be a class apart. Rajamouli is also known for his ‘never failing’ stint in direction.

Baahubali is easily one of the most awaited films by the movie goers. The film produced under Arka Mediaworks is planned for a grand 2015 opening.
