Sreenu Vaitla is directing Ravi Teja after a long time and the combination can be termed as a hit combination in Tollywood as they delivered hits like Venky, Nee Kosam, Dubai Seenu. Now, the film shaping up in the same combo is titled, Amar Akbar Anthony. Ileana is making her comeback to Telugu cinema after a long time with this film and there was a rumor that Ravi Teja is essaying a triple role in the movie but the interesting snipped on the project reveals that the rumor is false.

The sources close to the film unit revealed that Ravi Teja will be seen in a single role and he will sport three different looks in the movie. Depending on the situations, he will transform himself to any of Amar, Akbar or Anthony characters. The comedy that is generated in the process is said to be the highlight of the movie.

Mythri Movie Makers is the production house that is bankrolling the project. The film is slated for a release in October.

The film is being directed Srinu Vaitla and Mythri Movie Makers bankrolling this project. SS Thaman is composing music.

Director Srinu Vaitla hoping a hit with this flick. Lead Pair Raviteja and Ileana also hoping a hue hit with this flick. The major portion of the film will be shot in USA. Already the team shot half of the shoot.
