Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna has gained a huge fan following in Tollywood as well. It is a known fact that Rashmika got engaged to her ‘Kirik Party’ co-star Rakshit Shetty even before her Tollywood debut with ‘Chalo’ movie.

However, because of some reasons best known to them, the duo parted their ways and called off their engagement. Rashmika’s mother has announced the news officially. At the same time, Rakshit Shetty stated that he is going to stay away from social media for a while. But by connecting these two incidents the fans started trolling Rashmika. On this note, Rakshit gave a clarity that him being away from the social media is because of his professional purpose and has nothing to do with Rashmika.

Most of the time we come to a conclusion without even thinking from another perspective. I have known Rashmika for more than two years and I have known her better than any of you. Rashmika scored a hit in Telugu recently with the movie Geetha Govindam. The movie has become a big hit at the box office and brought huge fame for the actress. She is currently busy with shooting for the movie DevaDas where she was paired with Nani.

There are rumours that she called off her engagement with Rakshit Shetty but there is no clarity on it. Meanwhile, she was spotted at Thoomukuru Siddha Ganga Mathadhipathi Siva Kumara Swamy’s place. Rashmika visited Swamy along with her mother and sought his blessings.

Speaking to the media, Rashmika asked not to believe the rumours.
