King Nagarjuna recently made his comeback on Television with the popular reality show Bigg Boss. Now, he is prepping up for his arrival on the big screen with his upcoming movie Manmadhudu 2. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, this romantic comedy features Rakul Preet as the female lead.

The post-production works of the film are currently going on and the pre-release business is going on in full swing. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, one of the top channels, Star Maa bagged the satellite rights of this film for a whopping amount of Rs. 8.3 crores.

Already, the digital and Hindi dubbing rights of the movie were sold for about Rs. 7 crores and Rs.6.1 crores respectively. In that way, Manmadhudu 2 got around Rs. 22 crores by these rights itself. Let’s see how it performs at the theatres when it hits the screens on the 9th of August.

Many people in our country follow various sentiments while India is playing a cricket match, especially in big tournaments such as the World Cup. Even Rakul Preet has one particular sentiment in this aspect. The actress wears the same outfit for all India matches as it proved to be lucky.

It has been only two months since Manmadhudu 2 went on floors but already, the film has been almost wrapped up and the makers are getting ready to promote it. In the first leg, the teaser of the film will be unveiled on this 13th at 1 PM, as stated by director Rahul Ravindran.

They are promoting it as the King is now become the King of love and it looks like the movie is coming to be an out and out romantic drama. Meanwhile, the teaser of Prabhas’ Saaho is also releasing on the same day and we have to see how far will this movie sustain that storm.

Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead in the film while Keerthy Suresh and Samantha Akkineni will be seen in cameos. Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Jhansi, and Devadarshini played the other lead roles. The movie might hit the screens this August.
