Talented and beautiful Malayalam actress Nithya Menen was part of a huge controversy in 2011, while promoting her debut Telugu movie ‘Ala Modalaindi’.

Reports of Nithya Menen’s alleged statements of not knowing Prabhas created an uproar among movie lovers of Tollywood. Several media houses then published and called Nithya an arrogant lady.

In her latest interview, Nithya Menen clarified the whole issue. She revealed that she used to watch only few Telugu films and she didn’t know any actor other than senior actors Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Balakrishna and Nagarjuna.

During a promotional interview, when Nithya was asked by the journalists about Prabhas, she couldn’t hear the name properly and asked ‘who?’. Some media men used that opportunity and propagated that Nithya didn’t know Prabhas. Nitya feels that the whole issue was bloated out of proportion.

Senior actor, director and artist Devadas Kanakala is today known as actor Rajeev Kanakala’s father and top anchor Suma’s father-in-law. But, he is actually the man who taught the likes of Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Rajendra Prasad etc acting in his institute.

During ‘Open Heart with RK’ program, Devadas Kanakala, and Lakshmi, who have been in the industry for over four decades, made many interesting revelations. Rajendra Prasad and Subhalekha Sudhakar were their favorite students whereas Chiranjevi was the most hardworking student as per them.

They revealed that Balachandar made Rajinikanth an overnight star but the actor still respect their teachers. He added that Rajendra Prasad, Chiranjeevi, Sudhakar and many others still come and visit them.

Devadas said that he asked Chiranjeevi not to come to his house anymore as wherever he comes, there used to be a huge gathering of fans outside his home. So, Devdas said to Chiranjeevi whenever I want to meet you I will come to your house.
