It is known that young tiger NTR Jr’s new film ‘Nannaku Prematho’ has hit screens today.
NTR Fans Attack on Nannaku Prematho Theatre
One of the noted theatres in Vijayawada, Yuvaraj theatre, has been allotted for this movie. However, angry fans threw stones at the theatre after they felt cheated by the owners.
In fact, fans lined up in front of the theatre for a long time for tickets. However, only few tickets were sold and most of the remaining tickets were sold in black. With this, enraged fans threw rocks at theatre destructing glass windows.
Black market of tickets has become rampant of late. Government and film industry bigwigs should take strict measures against this system or the wrath of fans will be displayed in this manner only.
NTR Jr’s ‘Nannaku Prematho’ which hit screens today, has been playing with number of cases of late.
Case on Nannaku Prematho
After a row with Muslim community over poster controversy, a woman filing a case over the dubbing manager of the film and the humongous twist of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram lodging cases against the producer of the movie BVSN Prasad for the pending dues to the tune of Rs 4 Crore. Now a fresh case has been lodged in Janagama court in Warangal district by few Muslim youths alleging that the film has few objectionable scenes hurting their sentiments.
After the poster controversy, for which Nannaku Prematho makers apologized openly, it seems that this new controversy from Muslim youths is going to affect the business of the movie. We have to see how makers tackle this issue.

Nannaku Prematho Movie Review : Pace and content of Telugu cinema is changing from pale and typecasted subjects to content driven movies despite of hero’s star image. NTR, who is known for his super mass and same age old format movies collaborated with Sukumar, who is known for his intelligent screenplays and new age innovative subjects for the first time for his 25th movie produced by BVSN Prasad under SVCC and Reliance entertainments. Lets see how this much anticipated movie works on us.
Story
Abhi Ram (NTR) is son of Ramesh C Prasad (Rajendra Prasad) who was cheated by Krishnamurthy Kautilya (Jagapathi Babu). When his father is about to die in a month time, he comes to know about this and plans to take revenge on him and fulfil his last wish with the help of Divyanka (Rakul Preet Singh). How Abhi Ram fulfilled his last wish forms the rest of the story.

Cast and Performance
Coming to the main lead NTR, it’s definitely a super and complete makeover for him from his mass and type casted image. Right from his looks, dialogues and mannerism to his screen presence, we see a brand new and never before NTR. He carries whole movie on his shoulders. He just followed and believed director Sukumar blindly for this movie. Rakul Preet Singh as Divyanka is perfect. She plays her role with ease. Her voice is an added advantage for her role. Jagapathi Babu is fantastic as Kautilya, but has limited screen presence. Rajendra Prasad as father of NTR is nice. Rajeev Kanakala as elder brother of NTR is fantastic. Srinivas Avasarala, Naveen Neni, Tagubothu Ramesh and others excelled in their respective roles.
Writing Department
Basic story line by Sukumar is very simple. It is his intelligent and logical screenplay which makes difference. Each and every minute detail is taken care of and written with full logical substance. Dialogues are good and are fit for the scenes. Content written for this movie has universal appeal but has limited mass appeal.
Technical Departments
Songs composed by Rock star Devi Sri Prasad are nice. The song which comes during the rolling titles composed and written by DSP is superb. His background score is also good and sets the correct mood of the scene. Cinematography by Vijay K Chakravarthy is super and his visuals look brilliant on screen. He had done a good job. Editing by Naveen Nooli is good. Peter Heins fights are fine and are limited. Production Values are excellent.

Verdict
Movie begins with a slow pace and NTR showing his emotion on something elsewhere. It ends abruptly and is not so entertaining. It is NTR, show all the way and his makeover show. He concentrated more on his makeover and ignored what his fans expect from his movies. Jagapathi Babu, who is said to be antagonist has limited screen presence and we don’t find much needed emotion between protagonist and antagonist. Second half begins with the same pace of first half and it picks up after some time. Hero trying again to make heroine fall for him mixed with underplaying mind game is what makes it. Climax scene in which Rajendra Prasad dies is high on emotion and is probably the best of the movie. Audience, who expect high voltage action sequences and much elevated heroism leaves disappointed. Less action sequences, zero heroic dialogues and full on universal content is what it makes Nannaku Prematho. To sum up, this movie is a complete makeover for NTR and he finally tried something new.

Jr NTR and Rakul Preet Singh starring a refresh family entertainer “Nannaku Prematho” is getting ready for a grand release worldwide on January 13th, 2016. The movie has already created enough buzz among the audience and Nandamuri fans. Now the latest buzz is that the film has already completed its censor formalities in Dubai and censor board member cum distributor Kiaara Sandhu already watched the first copy of the movie has come up with the review on her Twitter page.

As per the reports Nannaku Prematho unedited version came about a duration of 3 hrs 40 mins and now the film team is working hard to make it as 2 hrs 20 mins. So, the Nannaku Prematho movie run time will be around 2 hrs 20 minutes. The Telugu version of Nannaku Prematho will goes to Censor on the 8th of January to clear the formalities.
Jagapathi Babu is playing the villain role in this flick and Rajendra Prasad is playing the father role to Jr NTR. The film is said to be a father and son sentiment story and it is directed by Sukumar. BVSN Prasad is the producer and Devi Sri Prasad scored the music.
The movie trailer already got the good response from the audience and it looks new and stylish. NTR’s look is another highlight for the movie. Audio was launched recently and it is also getting good response from the audience.
