Natural Star Nani whose recent outing ‘Devadas’ which is a multi starrer movie with Nagarjuna became an average film at the box office is currently concentrating on his upcoming movie ‘Jersey’. The actor is leaving no stone unturned to make this film perfect and is eyeing to score a super hit.

Touted to be a sports drama, Nani is going to play the role of a cricketer who tries to enter into the National Cricket Team in his 30s which is generally considered as the retirement age of the cricketers. The story also has a lot of emotions. As per the latest reports, Nani is not going to take remuneration for this film, but instead he is going to take a portion of the profits the movie is going to make. So, Nani has kept all his commitments on hold and is focusing only on ‘Jersey’. Director Chandrasekhar Yeleti has been waiting for Nani to take a final call on his project.

But ‘MCA’ actor is not going to take a decision about the movie before completing ‘Jersey’. Meanwhile, Chandrasekhar Yeleti is planning to do a movie with Nithiin and then direct Nani’s film. The project with Nithiin will commence in next year.

Natural Star Nani is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Krishnarjuna Yuddham. The film is scheduled for a grand release in the month of April. At the same time, Nani is enjoying the success of his production venture titled Awe. Nani has been enjoying a great career with back to back hits in the last two years which increased his success rate in the industry.

With this amazing success, Nani hiked his remuneration. Nani’s present remuneration hike is giving a shock to all the producers in the film industry. Mythri Movie Makers banner was supposed to do a film with Nani in the direction of Kishore Tirumala but the producers were shocked to hear that Nani is demanding huge amount.

Nani charged Rs 4-5 Cr rupees for the December released MCA and when the producers expected that he would hike the remuneration to 7 Cr, they were shocked to hear that it is 9 Cr. A source close from the production house revealed that the producers are still discussing the remuneration with Nani and they might ask Nani to come down as it is too much for the budget they planned.

One hit is enough to make their way to the top in the film industry, and it has proved again in the case of talented hero Nani. After scoring blockbuster ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’, it is heard that Nani has upped his remuneration to a vast amount of Rs 4 Crore.

Earlier, Nani used to charge around Rs 2 crore per film, but this sudden rise to Rs 4 crore is due to the unprecedented success of BBM directed by Maruthi. Producers are also willing to offer him such high amount considering the expanded market of the actor.

Nani will next appear in an untitled film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi of Andala Rakshasi fame. He is playing the role of a great fan of Nandamuri Balakrishna in this film.

As per sources, due to this hike, the actor is losing some interesting projects. After losing a project with Geetha Arts, Nani is heard to have now lost Mani Ratnam’s project.

Nani was approached by Mani Ratnam after Dulquer Salmaan had walked out. Now, although it is heard that Nani had walked out from Mani Ratnam’s proejct. Another buzz is that director Mani Ratnam removed Nani due to the actor’s high remuneration.

Insiders say that if Nani doesn’t realize this sooner and slash his remuneration, he will once again see the disaster days.
