Angel is one film that is being discussed a lot in the movie industry in the recent times. Ace director V V Vinayak launched the teaser of the film ‘Angel’ on Thursday. Starring Nag Ashwin and Heebah Patel in the lead, the movie marks the directorial debut of Palani who earlier worked under SS Rajamouli for the film Baahubali. The film has an interesting storyline, and it was conveyed well in the teaser. There is a good dose of action, comedy, glamor and romance which will work well with all kinds of audiences.

‘Sindhurapuvvu’ Krishna Reddy is producing the film. Hebah Patel is the leading lady in the movie. A good and experienced technicians team is working on the project now, and the makers will announce the release date of the film soon.

Short beauty Nithya Menen, who continues to indulge in controversies owing to her headstrong attitude, is heard to have received a stern warning from top producer Aswini Dutt.

After considering several actresses, Nithya Menen has recently been finalized to play the lead in a biopic of mahanati Savithri to be directed by Aswini Dutt’s son-in-law and the director of ‘Yevade Subramanyam’, Nag Ashwin. Aswini Dutt voted for Nithya only after she had agreed for his conditions.

It is heard that Dutt has asked Nithya to not indulge in director’s work and attend shooting on time. He also asked her not to indulge in any sort of controversy with any of the film’s unit members. He also warned to cut her remuneration if she doesn’t attend film’s promotions.

Nithya is heard to have agreed for all the conditions put forward by Dutt as she fell in love with the script.

A biopic on legendary actress Savithri, popularly known as ‘Mahanati,’ is all set to grace the silver screen.

Young director Nag Ashwin, who made his debut as a director with Nani’s critical hit ‘Yevade Subramanyam’, has decided to make the biopic of Savithri as his second film. The project has been titled ‘Mahanati’. The director has already finished the script work and he is currently searching for the perfect actress to carry the charisma of Savithri on silver screen.

Ashwin said that he spent six months to prepare the script, which will divulge all details of Savithri’s life except the tragic part. Ashwin went through several books and journals to pen the script about the journey of a normal woman to a superstar.

Ashwin confidently said that audiences will love to know the personal details about the actress through the film.
