Sumanth is one of the promising heroes of Tollywood film industry who is happy with the success of his recent film Malli Raava. The actor has promoted the film very much and expressed a confidence of bouncing back with a hit. During the promotions of the film, the hero has revealed about his own love story that happened in his life long back.

The actor admitted that he was in a living together relationship with a girl based in the USA for 6years. Apparently, Sumanth told that she has come to India to stay along with Sumanth but the girl said that she could not cope up with the living style in India resulting in both calling it a quit. Sumanth told that this love story dates back to 17 years from now and explained the scenario clearly.

Sumanth also confirmed that this happened way before he married actress Keerthi Reddy with whom he got divorced. Sumanth’s Malli Raava is directed by a new comer named Gowtham and produced by Rahul Yadav. Akansha Singh is the heroine.

Story

Karthik (Sumanth Kumar) and Anjali (Akanksha Singh) both meet during childhood in school. They both get along with each other well and also in love from childhood itself. They both part from each other at various stages of life due to some problems at that stages. No matter how many times they part, they meet again however without their knowledge and become close and part again. This continues at every stage of their life and once they decide to marry each other but they part and again meet for the marriage of Anjali with some other guy. Do they meet? Will they be together ?

Cast and performance

Sumanth Kumar as Karthik is superb. His acting skills are surely visible on screen. He looks some what elder for the character he played and they could have taken some care in that aspect. Rest of all, is superb. Akanksha Singh as Anjali is fantastic. She has good looks as well as good acting skills. The guy who played the character of Dumbo aka Subbu is nice. Annapurnamma garu is nice. All the guys in office are nice. Childhood actors of Karthik and Anjali characters are superb. The childhood actor especially looks like Rakul Preet Singh is some shots. Every other actor played their part well.

Writing Departments

The story of Malli Rava is a simple love story that happens at various stages of life. Screenplay is fine. Dialogues are well written.

Technical Departments

Music director Sravan Bharadwaj has done fantastic work in terms of composing songs and background music. Every song in the album is soothing to ears and are backed up by well written lyrics by Krishnakanth.

Cinematography by Satish Muthyala is good. Editing could have been more racy and crispy. Production values are apt.

Malli Raava is a story that happens between two people who are loving each other so truly from childhood itself. Their love fails because of the uncontrollable situations in their lives. In this love story, lead character Karthik is always there for his Anjali and her return to him but she is the one who always gets away from him. Parents and her mentality play big part in her life. This can also be summed up into a story that happens between a stable mind that choose only one person and an unstable mind that always seeks happiness and who want to learn from the mistakes of the failed relationship of their parents. Director Gowtam who also happens to be the writer did a nice job in handling this movie but he failed to makes it screenplay gripping and racy. If he had taken care of the screenplay, the result would have been much different . To sum up, Malli Raava is a beautiful love story which shows the mindset of the pair at various stages of life despite having some flaws.

Tollywood actors and newly married couple Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha released the theatrical trailer of Malli Raava movie starring Sumanth and Akansha Singh in the lead roles. Tollywood actor Sumanth’s new movie Malli Rava has completed its shooting part and getting ready for release soon. The movie is all set to hit the big screens on December 8th. Sumanth is pairing up with actress Akanksha Singh (Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya fame) in this flick. She is making her Tollywood debut with this flick.
