Superstar Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata has reportedly offered her hair to Lord Venkateshwara in Tirupathi.

Along with her children Gautham and Sitara, Namrata on Wednesday morning visited Tirupathi temple and offered special prayers to Lord Venkateswara during the VIP Darsanam. She was warmly welcomed by the priests. Later, she offered her hair at the temple.

As soon as pilgrims saw Namrata, they thronged to take pictures with her. As Namrata had already offered her hair by then, she reportedly felt uncomfortable to take pics.

Namrata, Former actress, and wife of Tollywood super star Mahesh Babu has met Telangana Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today to discuss the development plan of Siddapur village in Mahabubnagar district, which was adopted by Mahesh responding to a request by TS minister KTR.

The meeting was held in the presence of Mahabubnagar district collector Sridevi. Namrata has requested for the help of state government to make betterment in the amenities in health and education sectors in the village. Jupally promised to provide all the support needed for the development of Siddapur.

Namrata said that they will soon come up with a detailed plan to make Siddapur a smart village. Few days ago, Namrata visited Siddapur and interacted with the people and received a memorandum about the issues faced by the people of the village.

Actress cum superstar Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata has today visited Siddapur village in Mahabub Nagar District.

It is known to all that Mahesh has adopted Siddapur village when Telangana Minister KTR specially requested him. Namrata took part in the ‘Heal A Child’ medical camp conducted in the village. Various tests were conducted on children below 14 during this program.

After this, Namrata toured the village and spoke to people to know their problems. Namrata promised the villagers that she and Mahesh will resolve the issues of the village after consulting with the authorities. The villagers felt very happy when Mahesh put his words into action by sending Namrata on his behalf.

It may be noted that Mahesh adopted Siddapuram and Burripalem after the release of his ‘Srimanthudu’, which preached about the idea of village adoption.
