Even though the makers of Maharshi officially announced the release date of the film, there are still rumors in circulation that the film is going to get postponed to May.

Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations clearly announced the release date as April 25th but the ongoing reports reveal that Mahesh Babu was still reluctant about the film’s release around the same time.

A source close to the film unit reveals that the film might get released on the 9th of May. Mahesh Babu is not making his decision clear but the makers wanted to push the film’s release to May considering the huge release of Avengers in April.

As of now, the May release is still on cards but the makers will take more time to discuss and arrive at a final conclusion.

It is known that Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Maharshi’. Vamsi Paidipally is helming this project and the expectations are sky high on this movie.

Today, on the occasion of New Year, Mahesh Babu and team gave a sweet surprise to the fans by unveiling the second look poster of the film which is now trending on the internet. The poster featured Mahesh Babu in the CEO look walking in rain with his followers holding the umbrella for him. We can expect that Mahesh Babu is going to give an eye feast to the audience with this film. Pooja Hegde romanced Mahesh Babu in this movie.
