Khushboo Sundar was badly bashed for her expression of opinion over women’s virginity. She was thrown eggs and tomatoes at back in 2005. A case was filed against this and Khushbu Sundar is to attend the court hearing. The court has sent her a notice to attend the court hearing on 12th Feb.

Khushbu expressed her thoughts over an interaction with a news channel in the year 2005. Some of the citizens, Lady organizations, and women protested against her comments. They also filed a case against Khushbu Sundar in Mettur Murugan Court of Justice.

Khubhu failed to attend the court at that time. She was charged with an arrest warrant for not being able to attend the court. Khushbu appeared in the court then seeking justice against the protests. The case involves 41 people along with Arivalagan (ADMK).

Actress and Tamil Nadu Congress spokesperson Khushboo Sundar has filed a petition before the Madurai bench of the Madras high court seeking permission to go overseas. Khusbhu has been ordered to seek permission from the court before going on any trip abroad as the Andipatti police had filed a case against her in 2011.

According to Khushbu, she had joined the DMK in 2009 and had canvassed at various places for the party during the assembly election in 2011. In one instance, the Andipatti police in Theni district foisted a false case against her and few others under Sections 143, 341, 188 of the IPC.

The police filed a final report before the district munisf court-cum-judicial magistrate court in Andipatti. Seeking to quash the case she filed a petition before the high court bench, which in turn stayed the proceedings. Subsequently, the P C Patti police in Theni filed another case against her, against which she moved a petition before the high court bench.
