Kodi Ramakrishna was one of the senior filmmakers in the movie industry. We came to know that he passed away today at a private hospital in Hyderabad due to age related illness and breathing problems.

The senior director was hospitalized yesterday afternoon in the hospital and he was given treatment with the help of a ventilator. The director has been taking treatment for breathing problem but finally, the doctors went helpless as his condition became critical.

Earlier, he suffered a heart attack and paralytic attack in the past.

He made his debut as a director with Intlo Ramayya Veedhilo Krishnayya in 1982 and takes credit for several notable blockbusters like Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Muddula Menalludu, Ankusham, Sathruvu, Ammoru and Arundhati.

Senior director Kodi Ramakrishna is currently inactive in the movies. Apparently, he is not having work on hand but has been trying to cook up interesting scripts. Now, the buzz is that Kodi Ramakrishna was admitted in a hospital.

The reports are coming in that his health is not great these days and because of some illness, he was admitted to AIG Hospitals. Right now, it is said that he is being treated under a ventilator.

Some days ago, he was diagnosed with paralysis. But, Kodi Rama Krishna was cured at a faster pace. He started getting back to normal life again. But, all of a sudden, he is said to have fallen sick and. His family members immediately rushed him to the hospitals. The doctors are yet to release a statement on his current health condition.

The director made his debut with the film Intlo Ramayya Veedhilo Krishnayya.

Noted and senior director Kodi Ramakrishna needs no introduction. He created a niche for himself with his directorial ventures. He is quite known for Fantasy and Mythology genres and delivered blockbuster hits like Ammoru and Arundhati.

However, now after a long gap, he is making a comeback to his direction chair with the Kannada film Nagarahuvu. Coming to everyone surprise, he is all set to direct a movie with Kannada legendary actor late Dr. Vishnu Vardhan in a lead role.

Shocking!! But, yes, Kodi Ramakrishna is all set to create graphics as same as NTR in Kalisundam Ra and Yama Donga. The makers have recently released the official teaser of the film, and it has been receiving thumping response from the audience. Kodi Ramakrishna once again showed his penchant on the mythological genre.

It is heard that the film was expected to hit the screens four years ago, but it got delayed due to Ramakrishna’s health issues. After Dr. Vishnu Vardhan’s unexpected death, the film unit ropes VFX team to recreate the actor. Kannada actress Ramya has played the role of a snake in the film and will be seen as a 120-feet serpent. The makers have planned to release the audio and trailer next month, and the film will reportedly hit the screens in July.
