There are many ways to get entertained like music, books and of course movies, etc. Movies are prime entertainers which are preferred by majority of people to pass time. Actors retire with their age and their next generations come into their place. Megastar Chiranjeevi, who left movies 9 years back is now back into movies to entertain his fans and cine goers. Kaththi Seenu (Chiranjeevi) is a prisoner who escapes from jail in a very opportunistic way. He comes to his friend (Ali) and ask him to make arrangements to get out of the country. He then comes across Shankar (Chiranjeevi) in a most unexpected way and takes it as an opportunity and impersonates him to get rid of Police and jail term. He then enters an old-age home run by Shankar and becomes one of them as Shankar and tries to en cash every opportunity he got as Shankar and during the process he comes to know the story of Shankar and he becomes emotional and changes his attitude and mend his ways to fight for the cause of Shankar and support the people behind the name of Shankar. Who is Shankar? What is his story? How Kaththi Seenu fights Shankar’s issues? form the rest of the story.

Cast and Performance

Megastar Chiranjeevi is delight for his fans and neutral audience as Kaththi Seenu and Shankar. He is fabulous with his expressions and superb with his dances for his age. He looks dazzling like never before which enhanced his screen presence more. Kajal Agarwal performed well and is glamourous. Tarun Arora as a corporate company heir is appealing and has given nice performance. Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu and Prudhvi generate few laughs in between the proceedings of the movie. Ali is at his witty best as an aid to Chiranjeevi. Posani is apt as well as other actors.

Verdict

There are sky high expectations on Khaidhi 150 as it is a comeback movie for Megastar into movies and also as a story which was proven in Tamil. Khaidi 150 is definitely not a bad movie or a great movie to talk for generations but it is packed with such elements in which Megastar can prove himself again and tickle audience. First half of the movie is fun ride with emotional story of Shankar and well choreographed songs and action sequences. These all make us have a glance at vintage Megastar. Screenplay is mostly engaging except for forced comedy scenes. Second half is more on action and emotional content when compared to first half. This half seems to be dragged a little, but covered by the flow of the film. Climax is a bit disappointing as the humor injected is diluting the emotion. Director V V Vinayak has done fabulous job in handling Megastar and burden his image carries. This movie is like full meals for hungry Mega fans and enjoyable fun and emotional ride for normal audience.

Neeru Neeru Song in Khaidi No 150

As expected, this song impressed all with the very first time of hearing. As the story is about a theme of farmers suicides due to the scarcity of water for their crops, the theme song explains the same issue. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the best tune for the story. Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry’s lines are so heart touching such that they make us shed tears if we are sensitive enough. On par with Chiru’s famous theme songs like ‘Ghallu Ghallumani’ and ‘Nenu Saitham’, this ‘Neru Neru’ will also be remembered as one of the best theme songs in his career. With this song release, the entire album is out and overall the audio has bagged hit talk. One can expect extreme visuals for this song in the movie.
