Small budget wonder ‘Pelli Choopulu’ continues to dominate the box office, especially in the US even in its fifth week.

Collecting a cool $30K in the fifth week explains the performance of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ in the US. Several Telugu films released after this film, but none could stop the flow of Pelli Choopulu. NTR’s ‘Janatha Garage’, which will release in the US within few hours, is expected to apply brakes to Pelli Choopulu.

A lot of theaters playing Pelli Choopulu have already opted for Janatha Garage. If the NTR starrer can manage to garner positive talk, the glorious run of Pelli Choopulu will come to an end otherwise, it will dominate the box office for another week for sure.

On the work front, Tarak is busy shooting for his forthcoming film Janatha Garrage, which also features Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal, Nithya Menen, Samantha in lead roles. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on August 12th.

After tasting such unimaginable success, Jr NTR is trying to repeat the same with his upcoming film Janatha Garage as well. Latest reports reveal that, Tarak is now set to play the role of a student. Apparently, NTR will be seen in the role of an IIT student in ‘Janatha Garage’.

A source close to the unit said that Tarak’s penchant to get into the skin of the character has made Koratala Siva to sketch an intense role. And when NTR heard his character sketch and the plot narration he was in for a pleasant surprise. The source further revealed that there will also be mass angle to the role.

The regular shooting of Janatha Garage is currently progressing at a jet speed in Ramoji Film City. The crucial scenes on Mohanlal is being canned there. It is heard that NTR will join the sets in the first week of March. Touted to be an action drama, the film features Samantha and Nithya Menen as the leading ladies.
